The Inspiration

The inspiration came from a Japanese word Hanazono which mean’s “Flower Garden”. Whereas these flower garden’s are disappearing in the world to make way for progress, there are still remaining places in Japan and elsewhere in the world, where technology exist in the midst of these “flower gardens”, maintaining harmony and balance between nature and progress.

In Cebu, particularly Mactan Island, there was rapid transformation of the once upon a time remote and forgotten location into a industrial hub brought about by the construction of the international airport which attracted industries around it especially the export processing zones.

Although this industrialization heralded the economic boom of Mactan, it impacted the culture and the environment of the surrounding community.

Hanazono Technologies was formed in 2001 as a service company providing consultancies to various companies in Mactan and Cebu. It played an active role in the organization of companies in the economic zones called Mactan Export Processing Zone Chamber of Exporters and Manufacturers called MEPZCEM.

Among the services provided by Hanazono Technologies are Management and Technical Consultancies, and IT enabled services.

In everything that we do we are guided by the Hanazono story. We promote environmental friendly processes. We are an ardent advocate for efficient and clean governance. We participate in various community outreach programs as our token gratitude for our debts to society.
